Gini was born on 8. March 1956 in Bregenz/Austria. She has 4 children and 4 grandchildren. Gini is workin at the Bregenz Festspiel- und Kongresshaus GmbH. Uwi was born on 9. November 1958 in Jena/Germany. He has a daughter who is living and working in Cork/Ireland. Uwi worked as a constructor for 22 years.
Since 16. December 1996 Uwi knows he has NF2, since July 1997 he is a disabled pensioner and since 20. January 1998 he is aurally handicapped and nearly deaf.
How did we come together?
Funny story:
Uwi was chatting reagulary in the NF chatroom and "got to know" a so called "Gini". First they were just chatting and sending emails. But later they started sending text messages. In October 2003 Uwi was at a NF 2 cure in Bad Groenenbach/Allgaeu which was just 100 km away from Bregenz. So the two Chatfriends met in person.
What's the result? A close friendship and in the end it was love.
Since 4. September 2004 we are living together and in summer this year we'll have finally our own apartment.
